An Emerging Artist Sharing Her Journey

My art journey began years ago with pastels, colored pencils and graphite mediums. I worked in portraits and highly detailed representational work. Although satisfying, I felt a constant urge to get loose and be carefree with my art.

In the summer of 2022, I threw all those mediums aside and picked up acrylic paint and started playing. Through mixing colors, trying different tools and creating bold makes and shapes, I discovered my love for nonrepresentational expression!

There are many parts of this journey. Ups and downs, joys and frustrations, glory and grief and finally some finished art! I am here to share this, my journey, with you. If the creative inside YOU is intrigued, you are encouraged to join me.
